Lennox is the design-forward choice — slim cabinets, quieter outdoor units, and the iComfort thermostat is honestly the best OEM control on the market. The catch is that Lennox uses proprietary parts on a lot of its premium lineup, so when something fails outside the warranty window, repairs can be expensive. Worth it for the right home; not the right pick for a rental. In Redondo Beach specifically, salt air south of PCH, milder summer than Torrance, and consistent ocean breeze almost year-round.
